The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD) is the professional association for all second level school leaders in Ireland. NAPD provides a united voice for its members on issues of common concern.

NAPD is represented in relevant local, regional, national and international bodies. The Association represents the views of school leaders and shows leadership in the formulation of education policy. The key priority is to enable school leaders to be leaders of learning in their school.

Members of NAPD are also members of the European School Heads Association and the International Confederation of Principals.
