The Croatian Association of Primary School Principlas was founded in 1995 in Zagreb.

The aims of The Association are:

• impovement of primary education in The Republic of Croatia
• cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education and all other relevant educational institutions on state and local level
• cooperation on issues of financing primary education
• participation in drafting legal and subordinate acts
• advocacy of the interests of The Association (legal status of members)
• cooperation with schools in the country and abroad
• organization of seminars, conferences and experts meeting
• cooperation with public media (press, radio, TV)
