to promote the quality and efficiency of the public service of education and in particular of its educational and training establishments
to gather and support the management personnel, to defend their professional, collective or individual, material and moral interests notably by working for the improvement of their working conditions
to constitute within the educational system a reflection and proposal group attached to republican and secular values
to develop among its members a spirit of mutual assistance, friendship and mutual understanding.
